Submitting a notice

Send notices to our designated agent at dmca@pastepile.com.

A valid notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The exact Pastepile URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Incomplete notices may be ignored. Knowingly false notices can result in liability.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

Pastepile blocks access for, or refuses service to, repeat copyright infringers. Since Pastepile has no user accounts, this is enforced by blocking clients or IP addresses rather than by suspending accounts.
